Celebrating the end of the school year

Our family celebrates the end of each school year with huge ice cream sundaes and a visit of an adrenaline park. Not both on the same day, of course.

It’s an important tradition for all of us. One we look forward to throughout the whole year. It’s our way of congratulationg the kids for their hard work, the results they got and a chance to have some well deserved fun – as a family.

After three years of adrenaline parks and with a vacation planned before the school was officially over, I was worried we wouldn’t be able to do it this year.

Until I found out, that there’s the longest, fastest zip line in Europe on our way to our holiday destination of Makarska.

Where is Zipline Pazi Medo

It’s located in one of my favorite parts of Croatia, in the region called Lika, more specifically in the vicinity of Plitvice lakes.

Type this address into your GPS: Rudopolje, 53223 Vrhovine, Croatia.

The price?

Because our kids were too light (I think you have to weigh around 40 kg at least or you might stop too soon), we did a tandem.

I went with our oldest and hubs went with the youngest. One such tandem costs 350 Kunas, which is around 46 Euros.

For other prices check their website.

Coming to an end.

Kids on Zipline Pazi Medo

As we were getting strapped and ready to fly over a forest and a beautiful meadow full of blooming flowers, my daughter whispered: ‘I am scared.’ Looking around, I could only nod.

But once we started she was screaming with joy and not fear. She kept telling me: ‘This is so great. I want to do it again.’ Before we even finished.

I had to agree and we are looking forward to trying it again.

What else to do around there?
