Honestly, way too often my kids don’t do what I tell them to. And it’s either because they don’t hear me – that’s what they say, ignore me – that’s what I think. But could it be that they really don’t understand what I am saying? After carefully observing my daughter, I have discovered that she does what I tell her to do, of course, when she’s good and ready; it’s just that she misinterprets my words.
